1. Always cover food
ants can be very filthy creatures! Who knows where that ant has been before it crawled all over your food!
2. Clean up spills
make sure you clean up any food or liquid spills as soon as possible to avoid attracting ants.
3. Clean up food debris
always clean up food debris from under your kitchen appliances.
4. Tightly seal garbage cans
make sure that you always tightly seal your garbage cans.
5. Compost piles
keep any compost piles sealed off and covered to avoid attracting ants.
6. Pet food
don’t leave your pet’s food out. Store away any pet food as soon as your pet(s) have finished eating.
